    Only the audio goes to our server to write the captions. The video stays on your iPhone.

  2. Fix any word

    Tap a word to correct it. Words the transcription wasn’t sure about are marked for review.

  3. Choose a style

    Change the font, colours, size and position, and watch it on your own clip.

  4. Save and share

    The export keeps the size, place and colours you saw. Then share it from Photos.

Questions

Is VideoCaps an app or a website?

An iPhone app, for iOS 17 or later.

Is my video uploaded?

No. Only the audio track goes to our server to write the captions. Editing and saving happen on your iPhone.

Which languages can it caption?

English and Ukrainian, and both in one clip. Choose the language for each video, or let VideoCaps detect it.

Can I fix a wrong word?

Yes. Tap a word to edit it. Words the transcription wasn’t sure about are marked for you to check.

What if my free minutes run out?

You can still edit and export. New captions wait for the 1st of the month, or for Pro.

What happens when the trial ends?

The yearly plan starts, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

How do I cancel?

On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in with Apple, Google or email, so we can count your caption minutes.
